Meeting Your Goals for Fitness & Health
If you’ve tried and failed to meet your goals for fitness, health, and diet, then you’ve probably experienced one or both of those problems. You’ve had trouble getting started on a fitness plan, or you’ve had trouble sticking to a fitness program once you got it launched.
What’s your explanation? Is it just “human nature”? Many people like to believe it is. That means they aren’t really responsible for what happens because they have not real control. Is that what you believe?
Well, I don’t. And do you know what? You’re in a perfect position to prove that this is wrong-headed thinking.
You wouldn’t be reading this if you didn’t want to get fit, get healthy, and live a better life. Get started right now! Set concrete goals and start pursuing them. Keep with each activity that you start. Make sure that you stay with the program. When it comes to your fitness, your health, and your quality of life, don’t settle for less.
Start by setting your goals. Make them realistic or you’ll soon feel overwhelmed. But make sure they’re a stretch and mean a real change compared to where you are now. Take time to figure out where you are in fitness, health, and lifestyle. Then decide where you want to be. Then create a plan for getting from where you are to where you want to be.
To help with motivation, enlist others to encourage you. Tell you friends, tell your family that you’re starting a new lifestyle and you want their support. Tell them exactly what kind of support will be helpful. Maybe you want a gym partner. Maybe you just need someone to remind you not to have an extra dessert. Whatever it is, ask for specific help.
When creating your plan, do your homework. Research different diets, fitness programs, and workout plans. Find ones that appeal to you. You know, everyone’s personality is different. Everyone has different likes and dislikes. Pick the programs that fit with what you like. It will make things much easier.

Don’t let your belief in “human nature” keep you from achieving the fitness and health that you deserve. Prove the naysayers wrong. Get started achieving your fitness and health goals now.
